But if we are talking about the Bicolandia, we are referring to Region 5. About Bicol

Bicol region is mainly composed of six provinces such as Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Albay, Masbate and Catanduanes. The native of the region is called Bicolano which is the same term used for its language.

The region receives 50% of its revenue on agriculture producing coconuts, coffee, banana, jackfruit and abaca. Mining and fishing are also contributors for the flourishing economy of the region. The 20% of its economy comes from Naga City which is an independent component city. Naga City is the Educational Center of Bicol but the state university of the region, Bicol University, is located in Legazpi City. The university is already a 9001:2008 certified for having a World Class Management System.

Bicol offers its visitors cultural, environmental and urban attractions which showcased the

culture and tradition of the region. In Naga, Spanish landmarks still exist today as well as different churches. Among the colonial landmarks include Plaza Quince Martires, Holy Rosary Minor Seminary, Museo Del Seminario Concilliar De Nueva Caceres, San Francisco Bell Tower and Porta Mariae. The churches include Peñafrancia Shrine, Peñafrancia Basilica Minor, Naga Metropolitan Cathedral and San Francisco Church.
